and adaptation measures 

However, the DEKRA Climate Impact program mentioned before not only includes the internal carbon price, but also actively promotes measures for climate protection and adaptation to climate change. In doing so, the organization deliberately refrains from making traditional carbon neutrality claims regarding its own climate impacts. Instead, the funds flow into initiatives that demonstrably contribute to climate mitigation, climate adaptation, and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This includes supporting reforestation and peatland restoration projects, the use of carbon capture and storage technologies and investments in infrastructure projects. Examples include measures to secure access to water such as solar-powered drinking water supply, disaster prevention training and projects to green business locations and cities. All of these measures are intended to help mitigate the negative effects of climate change and strengthen resilience to climatic changes. A high added value for many people on this earth.
