N for Nature, B for Body and M for Mind: DEKRA China has been running a program under this motto since 2020 with a whole range of activities to encourage employees to do something for their physical and mental health. This included, for example, participating in the nationwide initiative called “CityWalk”, which offered a perfect opportunity to leave the car behind and get out and about on foot. Another unusual idea was the call to record the numerous distances walked over a period of several weeks in order to then plot an artificial route on a world map that leads through all six DEKRA regions in the world. A total of 268 colleagues from DEKRA China took part and covered 64,728 kilometers within 70 days. Another highlight for DEKRA China was the award for the best “Sustainable Development Program” at the Employer Branding Creativity Awards 2023 in the “ESG Practice” category in Beijing in November 2023. DEKRA was able to prevail against 489 well-known domestic and foreign companies operating in China. The expert organization's great efforts and successes in the areas of Employee Engagement, Learning & Development and Diversity & Inclusion were recognized.
