A strong and wide-ranging commitment to a sustainable future has characterized the daily business of the DEKRA Group in Poland for years. This commitment is reflected in a wide range of internal and external activities. Examples include in-house ESG training courses as part of the specially established Sustainability Academy, cybersecurity workshops, prevention programs to promote health, and training courses on diversity, inclusion and compliance at DEKRA.
DEKRA Group in Poland cooperated with several associations working toward sustainable development and energy transformation, including the Responsible Business Forum, the Polish Association of ESG Leaders, the Polish Environmental Management Forum, the Polish New Mobility Association, and the Chamber of Commerce for Energy and Environmental Protection. These activities have significantly contributed to the realization of UN SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals.
As a member of the Polish Association of ESG Leaders and the Responsible Business Forum, DEKRA Group in Poland is actively involved in numerous external initiatives to underscore the importance of ESG certifications and audits in implementing sustainability strategies and assessing risks in the supply chain, among other areas.
In April 2024, DEKRA participated in the Round Table on Sustainable Economic Transformation. That same month, DEKRA’s best practices were featured in the 2nd National ESG Report titled "Opportunities and risks." Between June and November 2024, DEKRA contributed to the development of the ESG Guide for SMEs, focusing on the chapter about ESG certification, ratings, and rankings. In November 2024, DEKRA was honored at the ESG Innovators Forum & ESG Innovators Gala with the Silver Award in the Governance (G) category for its contributions to Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM). In cooperation with the Responsible Business Forum, DEKRA participated in the ESG Idea Fair conference in April 2024. In June 2024, DEKRA experts co-hosted a webinar titled "ISO 14001 as support in implementing the sustainable development strategy and ESG reporting". During these events, DEKRA experts explained the use of ISO management systems for advancing sustainability and ESG initiatives. In October 2024, DEKRA reinforced its commitment to inclusivity by officially joining the Diversity Charter Signatories during the Diversity Charter Gala. DEKRA has also been active in the Polish New Mobility Association, contributing to the creation of the Guide for Buyers of Electric Cars to support sustainable mobility initiatives.
