“Green” vehicle inspection
Periodic vehicle inspections play a key role in reducing pollutant emissions and promoting cleaner and safer vehicles. The “ITVerde” initiative from DEKRA Spain should be seen against this backdrop. The declared aim is to promote the transition to more sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility. In this context, a new website was also created with a focus on simple navigation and accessibility from any device.
Among other things, it includes an online appointment booking system for vehicle inspections to streamline the testing process and reduce waiting times at the test centers. DEKRA Spain is also working with several online payment apps to reduce paper consumption at the test centers. Other measures for greater environmental friendliness include the installation of solar panels and charging stations for electric vehicles as well as the use of highly efficient LED lighting systems.
