Charity soccer and clean beaches
Playing soccer for a good cause: at the end of April 2023, DEKRA Taiwan took part in a charity soccer tournament organized by the German Chamber of Commerce in Taipei to support the Disabled Children's Rights and Advocacy Association in Taiwan. A total of 16 German companies took part and raised an impressive sum under the motto “Play for those who can't”. For every goal scored, NTD 1,500 was donated to the Disabled Children's Rights and Advocacy Association in Taiwan. The 287 goals raised a total of NTD 430,500. The donation will be used to build more inclusive playgrounds that will benefit a greater number of children with disabilities.
DEKRA employees in Taiwan also showed their civic engagement in a completely different way: together with their families, they were involved in cleaning up garbage on the beach.
